The College Entrance examination is a battle and also a challenge. The long march has drawn to a close. It will be 60 days before the stirring moment comes. Thus, Anqing Foreign Language School once again convened the work meeting for teachers from Grade 12. Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong attended the meeting and delivered a keynote speech. The meeting was chaired by Director Xu Haihong.
First of all, Director Xu Haihong conducted detailed analysis on the exam results of the Model Test 2 in Anqing City at the end of March. He affirmed the teaching results and great efforts of teachers from the 12th grade as well as reflected the inadequacies. Director Xu Haihong pointed out that in the subsequent review period, teachers were supposed to comprehensively grasp the review progress, scientifically and reasonably make the best of the simulated test papers, positively prepare the exams, go over customized materials in accordance with students’ actual conditions, lay emphasis on the basic knowledge points, locate and make up the deficiencies in time, review the key points, standardize the problem solving steps in addition to attaching importance to introspection and summary.
Second of all, each discipline teacher should take an active role in attending the review seminar of the College Entrance Examination in and around school and pay close attention to the dynamic state of the Chinese Gaokao. At this crucial moment, many students were in a stagnant and floating state. Therefore, each subject teacher was requested to attach great significance to their changes in heart, lay emphasis on their psychological counseling and communicate with them without delay.
Third of all, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong put forward specific requirements in regard to the classroom teaching in Grade 12. Besides, he stressed that teachers from the 12th grade should pay special attention to the general knowledge course teaching of students majoring in arts, teach them the basics of the basic knowledge to guarantee they reach the double standard lines of the College Entrance Examination.
